We are very very sorry everyone for starting on this so late. Although we have been keeping accurate documentation of our crazy adventures our internet time has been slim, and our ability to upload photos and such has been limited. However! Now we would like to get EVERYONE who cares a wink updated on our fantastic trip :o)
So, it all began one day back in late January 09....
Meredith and Chelsie had been fantasizing about traveling abroad someday. They never thought anything would ever actually happen, especially anytime soon, but behold one day in Meredith's creative writing class, I was persuaded by an excellent presentation to look into studying abroad in London this summer. Knowing it would be look but no touch, I dabbled around a bit, and found out that the deadline for going was in less than a week. Well, that was all it took. Two days later, after discovering there were means of paying for it, I had Chels just as convinced and the two of us began scampering like mad (in our already crazy schedules) to make this dream of living in London come true. As avid Harry Potter fanatics and lovers of history, literature, and sexy accents, it was an opportunity we would die for and couldn't pass up, so we went for it--on a crazy whim!
The whole "living in London" for six weeks never really sunk in, and after meetings, other unthinkable european excursions became a possibility! Yup, thats how Ireland, Scotland, Paris, Switzerland, Austria, Italy and Greece all came about. Nothin' was stopping us, and you only live once, so onward we planned. Soon enough we decided it was time to start "our blog" and that is our first story:
We were sitting on day in the computer lab at school, not doing hw of course, when chelsie had the brilliant idea of naming her blog, however, after contemplating this we both came to agreement that our super duper awesome blogs should be as one as to avoid confusion, and just because we are pretty much one. Then came the controversey: "Do we name it The life and lies of Chelsie and Meredith? or The life and lies of Meredith and Chelsie?"
We then proceeded to settle it like we settle all controversies between us--A good honest round of Rock, Paper, Scissor!
Yeah, well by the results you can all tell who won, but just to brag:
Things were intense. We had to play fast because the professor in the room but we also had to play smart... a lot was at stake here. Focusing on the other person's possible mind games, reading and unreading each others minds we dueled, and whipped out the first set.
Scissors slicing parchment!
Meredith: YES
Chelsie: NOOOO!
Next move came as swiftly as the first and...
Paper smoothering a deafted little boulder...cast by...CHELSIE mwahaha! Chelsie: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO FUUUUUBBBB! Anguish Cry!
